If you’ve got your studs screwed in right, then this is the footy tipping comp for you – free pot of Mountain Culture Status Quo when you enter your tips and sweet cash prizes and mega bar tabs up for grabs.

There are 54 spots, because we’ve got the 54 ye olde Fitzroy North Post Office boxes to house your in-person tipping cards.

  • HOW TIPPING WORKS

    Tip the winner of each AFL match, 1 point for each correct tip.

    Tips must be submitted before the first bounce of each game, tip in person for a free pot of beer.

    There's no need to submit online too if you're tipping in person. If you tip in-person on paper this counts as your tips – but if you also placed tips online, your in-person paper tips will override and count as gospel. 

    Your tips must be placed before the first game of the round and cannot be changed afterward.

    A public leaderboard will be updated weekly.

    Tipsters who’ve not paid before the start of Round 1 will be ineligible to compete.

    If a tip is not submitted: Default tip = away team.

    TIEBREAKERS

    If two or more players finish on equal points at season’s end, places will be decided by:

    1. Most perfect rounds (all tips correct in a round)

    2. Highest score in the final round

    3. If still tied — prize is split evenly
